Posted in 2020, ECONOMICS, Issue № 11(101) November 2020 | 0 comments

The main purpose of this article is to study the current state of digital tax accounting in the Republic of Iraq. To achieve this goal, the authors review the problems of digital tax accounting and recommend the ways to overcome them. E-commerce, which is not tied to spatial boundaries, remains the most difficult sphere for tax administration in Iraq. The difficulties involve transactions and contracts that are concluded electronically due to the complexity of the system for protecting data and documents in electronic form with the ability to reproduce them and make changes to their content.

Digital accounting does not have a specific definition in Iraq. Rather, it falls into the category of changes in accounting connected to computing and networking technologies. As for the relationship between the accounting structure and the tax system with its three pillars, namely tax legislation, tax administration and the tax community, on the one hand, and modern technological innovations, on the other hand, it is possible to identify the main difficulties in the interaction between each structure and information technologies, notably gaps in tax administration legislation.

Posted in 2020, ECONOMICS, Issue № 11(101) November 2020 | 0 comments

The article explores a new approach to assessing the investment attractiveness of an economic system, which is based on the analysis of qualitative indicators that characterize its innovative activity and growth trends. The use of gross domestic product as a universal indicator of the state of the system does not always lead to correct conclusions. The study proposes to analyze not the dynamics of GDP, but the change in a country’s share in the world economy, which will increase the objectivity of the assessment. The increase in the country’s share in the world economy over several decades indicates the development of the economic system. For a qualitative assessment of growth, it is proposed to analyze the dynamics of exports of high-tech products. The research has shown that Russia possesses sufficient innovative potential to increase both the competitiveness of products and its share in world markets.

ON THE SUBJECT OF THE 2020 NOBEL PRIZE IN ECONOMICS

Posted in 2020, ECONOMICS, Issue № 11(101) November 2020 | 0 comments

The author of the article argues that along with the relevance of works on economics for 2020 (“for improvements to auction theory and inventions of new auction formats” and “Behavioral Economics…”) the works on economic information that economics has ceased to be interested in are also relevant. The search for invariant structures of economic information (EI) and their properties. Thus, the economy may not consider the symmetry of EI and its properties. The absence of invariant structures of EI precludes the study of symmetry and its properties and, as a consequence, there are no works on EI symmetry. The EI structure itself has group properties for the addition operation, which has the capabilities to deepen the economy and expand its capabilities. The direct sum of the group via the addition operation determines the relationship between the structures of EI: the structures of production and consumption, the structures of labor, and the structures of individual actions. EI has a figurative symmetry, ornamental symmetry, which is also not studied in economics [2]. The author argues that the opinions of economists are not taken into account when studying the problems of artificial intelligence (AI). AI is the act of individuals, and any act cannot be done without economics. The economy is driven and developed by individuals who work and move symmetrically with their actions in time and space. Therefore, AI is a set of actions of individuals in time and space that are endowed with certain properties that we consider AI.
