BOUNDARY LINES OF ANALYTIC FUNCTIONS WITH A PARAMETER

The study of various processes (electric and magnetic fields, the flow of air and liquids, quantum physics, etc.) comes down to the study of analytical functions of a complex variable. The subject of research is the analytic functions of a complex variable with a parameter. The research introduces the concepts of boundary, regular, and singular points for such classes of functions and defines the following concepts: singular, regular, and boundary regions. Using the topological approach, the study broadens the concept of a boundary line. The study selects the main boundary line from the set of boundary lines. The examples illustrate the topology and various forms of the main boundary lines (closed, spider-like, with a punctured point, a countable amount) as well as the structure of the boundary area. As shown in the examples throughout, it is impossible to determine the shape of the main boundary lines for the general case, therefore each case must be considered separately.

MEASURING COMPLEX PERMITTIVITY VIA BRAGG MICROWAVE STRUCTURES

The article discusses the general principles of measuring the conversion of the complex permittivity of various material media at ultrahigh frequencies in relation to a new type of conversion elements consisting of an electrodynamic structure with a Bragg resonance. In the microwave range, such structures are implemented in waveguide segments by introducing a system of periodic inhomogeneities or irregularities. The research presents a solution to a model problem with the goal of evaluating the sensitivity of measurements in order to identify key features and patterns in the behavior of the Bragg structure used as a sensor. The obtained results can be used in the design of microwave sensors for dielectric control of materials and substances.

A MATHEMATICAL MODEL FOR MEASURING THE CONCENTRATION OF NANOPARTICLES IN LIQUID DURING THEIR DEPOSITION

The article offers a mathematical model for dynamic measurement of the polymer enclosure concentration on the surface of dispersed particles of their filler suspended in a liquid during their sedimentation. The mathematical model provides for the movement of deposited particles under the influence of gravity, hydrostatic lift, and drag forces. The model takes into account the effect of Brownian (thermal) motion of the solvent on the movement of particles based on elastic collision as well as the effect of the inelastic collision of particles with each other. In addition, the model considers the influence of fluid motion under the influence of a thermal gradient on the motion of deposited particles, for which a mathematical model of fluid motion is constructed. The particle concentration is estimated based on Rayleigh scattering modeling. The calculation data are compared with the results of a full-scale experiment.

MATHEMATICAL MODELING OF STRUCTURE FORMATION OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS USING DYNAMIC MODELS

The study proposes a mathematical method for modeling the processes of structure formation of dispersions and composite materials through the use of dynamic models that take into account the energy, structural and rheological features of interparticle interaction. The article considers the conditions of the spontaneous formation of floccules and clusters. The research includes the construction of mathematical models of cluster structure formation in dispersions as well as defines the cluster parameters, and formulation and technological conditions for their formation. Based on the proposed models and mathematical methods, the study demonstrates the possibility of controlling the processes of structure formation of dispersions in order to obtain optimal parameters of the structure and properties of composite materials.

A STABILITY ASSESSMENT OF ROOF ROCKS IN THE WORKINGS OF THE “AIKHAL” MINE

The article examines the issues of assessing the stability of the roof rocks during the underground development of a placer accumulation. The study provides geological characteristics of the Aikhal diamond mine and describes the composition and properties of the rock mass. In the course of the study, the authors examine the preliminary assessment of the stability of roof rocks using the method of D. H. Laubscher (MRMR — Mining Rock Mass Rating). The study determines the stability of the roof of stopes of the Aikhal diamond mine according to the rating classification of D. H. Laubscher, which is widely used today in the issues of rock mass stability. The research summarizes the results of the calculations in the final table of the MRMR rating for the conditions of host rocks of the contact zone and the ore body. The study makes conclusions on determining the stability of roof rocks and choosing the system of development based on the results of calculations of the rock mass rating according to the geomechanical classification of D. H. Laubscher for the conditions of the Aikhal kimberlite tube.

EMPIRICAL SIMULATION OF THE HARDNESS DISTRIBUTION OF AN α-SOLID SOLUTION OF A NITRIDED CASE

The study establishes the influence of alloying elements on the kinetics of layer phase growth and hardness based on numerous nitriding experiments in gas, liquid, and solid media of various types of structural steel. The article develops and tests an empirical model for predictive calculation of the distribution of nitrogen content and hardness over the depth of the α – solid solution of the nitrided case. The model provides for the application of the thermodynamic coefficient of nitrogen activity and its dependence on the total effect of the content of alloying elements. The research presents comparative results of numerical experiments for calculating the maximum hardness and its distribution over the depth of the α-layer with real experimental data on various types of steel. The calculation that is based on the presented model shows a higher agreement with the experiments than the calculation methods recommended in the literature.

THE USE OF OBLIQUE PROJECTION FOR MEASURING THE CROSS-SECTION DEFORMATION OF ROAD SURFACES

When a road is used, the flatness of the surface of the pavement decreases in the longitudinal and transverse directions relative to the axis of the roadway. This phenomenon worsens the transport and operational qualities of the road.

The authors of the article propose the usage of oblique projection to assess the evenness of the road surface in the transverse direction. This method is based on obtaining the necessary data from a photo or digital images that capture the visible trace of the intersection of the inclined laser plane with the surface of the roadbed.

The article presents a schematic diagram of the device to conduct the measurements in static or dynamic modes as well as estimates the accuracy of the results obtained during the measurements.

The article explores the implementation of a string processing library that provides functional calls for frequently encountered text processing computing operations.

The first version of the string processing library has been developed, so attention is focused on creating a wide range of functional calls that allow for the automation of the solution of frequently encountered text processing subtasks. The algorithms of the library functions are adapted to achieve maximum concurrency within the framework of the functional dataflow concurrent computing model, which in the future will allow for the development of original and efficient algorithms to process large text data.

Quasicrystals present great interest to materials scientists due to their inherent crystalline structure, which determines a complex of unique chemical and physicomechanical properties such as high values of chemical and corrosion resistance, elastic modulus, hardness, wear resistance and ultra-low friction coefficient with a sufficiently high thermal stability.

However, the brittleness and low formability of quasicrystals limit their widespread use. Therefore, they are most often used as composite material fillers in the form of powders or when creating functional coatings. A particular interest of the study is the development of compositions and processing technologies using quasicrystals as anti-friction materials in friction units, which can help reduce the wear of friction units, increase the reliability and service life of parts and mechanisms [1], [2], [3], [4].

WIND TURBINE BASED SINGLE-STAGE POWER SUPPLY

The article deals with the issue of creating a hybrid power supply system based on an electricity-generating wind turbine with magnetic blades. The study proposes a method of hybridization of wind turbines using its mast. This is carried out by freeing up the area occupied by solar panels and attaching these panels to the masts. Through this means, the turbine achieves an increase in the efficiency of wind energy usage. The study provides an algorithm for calculating the efficiency of wind energy use for the proposed hybrid power system and describes the design of a hybrid wind turbine for a centralized power generation. The study demonstrates the efficiency of such hybridization of wind turbines for the use of wind and solar energy. This approach to hybridizing the use of alternative energy sources streamlines their management with the help of the centralization of energy sources.

STUDY OF THE BORDER ANGLE OF WETTING POLYETHYLENE FILM, MODIFIED WITH ORGANIC AND INORGANIC COMPONENTS

Polymer materials based on polyolefins are actively used in the food and dairy industries as packaging. In order to ensure the maximum safety of packaged products, it is necessary to take into account not only the physicomechanical and physicochemical properties of the polymer packaging, but the adhesive properties of the surface. Based on the characteristics of the chemical structure, polyolefins are inert in themselves and have relative hydrophobicity with respect to wetted solutions. The degree of wetting of the material surface is estimated by such an indicator as the wetting contact angle, which is calculated through the cosine of the angle formed by the tangent planes to the interphase surfaces bounding the wetting liquid, while the apex of the angle is at the interface of three phases (solid, liquid and air). One of the methods for measuring the contact angle is the lying drop method.

This paper presents data on determining the contact angle of wetting of polymer surfaces of various structures, including those modified with organic and inorganic components.

ASPECTS OF STUDYING VEHICLE OPERATING CYCLES USING STAMM 4.1 SOFTWARE

It is a known fact that under the influence of a large number of external factors some parameters of vehicles randomly change during driving. For example, the speed of a car and the parameters associated with it depend on the traffic and road surface condition, weather conditions, driving style, and other factors. On the other hand, if the vehicle is idle, most processes are stationary, and their parameters change rather slowly. Therefore, modal driving cycles are a common way of reproducing the operation of the car for the purposes of setting the rate of fuel consumption or emissions of harmful substances with exhaust gases. The tests are often carried out using computer simulations. However, modal driving cycles are usually not used for vehicles that perform special functions.

The purpose of the study is to optimize the simulation models of vehicle operation by reducing the time of the experiment while maintaining the required accuracy of the model.

This result is achieved using a dynamically changing simulation time. The research explores the features of driving cycles of the vehicles with various purposes. The study presents the simulation software Stamm 4.1, which implements the method of dynamic change of simulation time when simulating vehicle operating cycles, which significantly reduces the duration of the experiment.

A THEORETICAL INVESTIGATION OF THE FINE STRUCTURE OF THE 42P AND 42D ENERGY LEVELS FOR THE GALLIUM ISOELECTRONIC SEQUENCE

The fine structure of the 4s24p 2P and 4s24d 2D energy levels for 50 ions of the gallium isoelectronic sequence has been investigated on the basis of previously calculated Dirac-Fock energies. There is smooth monotonous variation of the fine structure splitting along the isoelectronic sequence in the case of 42P levels, but in the case of 42D levels the same variation is rapid and irregular. It indicates that there is no substantial interaction of levels in the case of 42P levels and that the 42D levels are strongly perturbed. The allowance for 4s4p2 configuration superposition leads, as a rule, to a satisfactory agreement between the theoretical and experimental results.

PARUS, A NEW VARIETY OF SOYBEAN

The subject of the research is a new early-maturing variety of soy, Parus, with a growing period of 100-105 days. The variety is bred from a hybrid population via crossing (Boy 45 x Lan’) x (Vestochka x Runo). According to the results of the crop variety testing in 2016-2019, the Parus soybean variety exceeded the yield of the earlier standard variety, Duar, by 0.26 t/ha and the mid-ripening Vilana variety by 0.20 t / ha. The average protein content in the seeds amounts to 40.7 %. The variety is characterized by increased drought resistance, height, early maturity (vegetation period of 100-105 days), resistance to lodging and cracking of beans. The height of the plants in unstable moisture in Krasnodar Krai during the period from 2016 to 2019 amounted to 1.12 m.

KORA, AN EARLY MATURING VARIETY OF SOYBEAN

The most important task of crop breeders is to create a new, highly competitive soybean variety with improved productive and technological characteristics that is adapted for cultivation in specific soil and climate zones. Zoned in 2020, the “Kora” soybean variety is characterized by increased resistance to drought and has a shorter growing season (95-100 days). The plant stem of this soybean variety is elastic, rough, which makes it resistant to lodging. According to the results of variety testing (2016-2019), the Kora variety exceeded the standard (Duar) variety by 0.12 t/ha in yield. The weight of 1000 seeds amounted to more than 160 g. The beans have mainly 2-3 seeds and are resistant to cracking when over mature.

NDF (neutral detergent fiber) is now considered the most suitable parameter for fiber characterization due to the fact that NDF contains the most important components of plant cell walls (cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin) and therefore makes it possible to divide carbohydrates into structural and non-structural (FC, NFC). A big challenge in feeding high producing cows is supply the animals with the needed amounts of energy and at the same time provide the tripe with enough fibrous substances to ensure its stable operation.

Due to limited feed intake, the diets of high producing cows are rich in highly digestible non-structural carbohydrates (NFC), whose fermentation leads to the formation of a large amount of propionic acid with a strong acidic effect in the tripe, while the NDF fermentation is slower and happens on a smaller scale. Fiber content and energy concentrations are inversely related. In addition, fiber possesses an important function in the formation of layers in the tripe’s content (a mat out of coarse particles that floats on a liquid with small particles).
