The article is devoted to the diagnosis and surgical prevention of pulmonary embolism in the phlebothrombosis of the lower extremities. It is established that the CBC is an informative method of diagnostics of floating blood clots. Urgent implantation of cava filter, cava or veinplication, crossectomy are effective ways of prevention of pulmonary embolism. After surgery, it is advisable to carry out adequate thrombolytic and antiplatelet therapy for the correction of coagulation disorders, treatment and prevention of progressive phlebothrombosis.
